I don't care if it's intended to be a mindless smutfic. I don't care if the original canon doesn't have even a vague mention of anything remotely sexual. Nor do I care if it's an original character who did it. This character was a member of a set of characters famous for being good guys and following strict codes of honour despite suffering from beserk rages. These characters kill their defeated enemies, or on occasion let them go if they're sure they won't pose a future danger. They don't rape them!
Note to self: writing.com is a bad place to look for fanfic. Also must rethink friend's insistence that I should try writing porn to show people how it's done, because even if I do blush at writing so much as a kiss scene, I couldn't possibly do any worse than 90% of fandom. |

It’s new fic. It’s using our fandom’s classic trope so this is somehow understandable. But your story is trite. The plot is sucks, by OOC mostly. And stupidity.
Character A lost trust of Character B. Being brilliant and doing incredibly important work, A wouldn’t lose his sleep and ability to think during the day because of it. He wouldn’t stop eating and wouldn’t lose his wish for Nobel Prize even if you, dear author, think otherwise. Because, you know, A still has very important job, he doesn’t want to make mistakes by being exhausted and he’s generally too busy for long remorse.
A won’t be asking other people to teach him «fly in the straight line» and show him how to shoot a gun right just to please B and earn his trust back. For the most part because A learnt it year ago from the same unfortunate B!
And while I’m still on it, please, dear author, don’t make A stupid in addition to his behavior of 13-year-old-girl-seeking-approval-from-her-parents.
Please note, that I didn’t want to offend any 12-year-old girls on purpose.

Miley Cyrus admits she is tired to fame and the gossip that comes along with it. The 16-year-old, who recently deleted her Twitter account for more privacy, insists she doesn’t seek attention from the press, it comes to her.
“People will always say that I’m overworking, over exposed and want all this attention. That’s not true,” she says.
Though she is tired of attention, the Hannah Montana says insists she is grateful for her job. “I just want people to realize that I really am grateful for what I do and I do care about the fans. I can’t help if there are 40 photographers outside my house,” she adds.
Cyrus recently filmed The Last Song with Liam Hemsworth.

The 22-year-old actor has been an avid fan and supporter of the Lakers for years. Zac and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens were seen at several games last season.

Miley Cyrus is reportedly dating Steve Rushton, who is a former member of pop band Son Of Dork.
The teen star has been romantically linked to British guitarist Steve Rushton, 22, who now plays guitar in her backing band for her flick “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”
A source claimed that Steve relocated to the US after signing his deal with Disney. He first met Miley on the set of the Hannah Montana film. They hit it off straight away. The pair spent hours instant messaging each other when they have been apart.

When your fic features Lois Lane as a domestic housewife that cooks breakfast for her husband and watches the kids all day, I become very alarmed, and hit the back button. I don't care if your fic is set in a continuity I'm not as familiar with, I'm pretty sure that Stepford!Lois is OOC everywhere.

If Derek Venturi wanted to be with Casey because he's in love with her, he would not be secretly plotting against her ex-boyfriends.
He also wouldn't poison and kill Sam. His and Casey's relationship was over a long time ago, and besides, Derek and Sam are friends. Derek may not do well in school, but I can't see him putting his super secret plans on the computer so Casey can accidentally find them when he breaks her laptop.
And really, why is Casey even with Derek in the first place and why hasn't she gone to the police? She even confronted Derek about killing Sam! She has proof on Derek's computer that he's done these things, and she's pretending to be happy with him?
And biology fail here: You cannot find out that you're pregnant one day after having sex! It's impossible!

| Jonas Brothers cancel Zurich show due to illness |

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas are having to cancel their Zurich concert for tonight.
Youngest of the trio, Nick, 17, has come down with a respiratory infection.
The JoBros announced on their Twitter, saying, “We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Jonas Brothers concert for this evening in Zurich. Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing. This is the first time that the Jonas Brothers have ever cancelled a show for sickness and deeply regret that they will not be able to perform as a group tonight.
“The band, the management, and the promoter apologize that the show must be cancelled on such short notice. We will do everything we can to revisit Zurich in the future and perform for our wonderful fans. Tickets can be refunded as of Monday, 9 November until 31 December 2009 at the presale agency.”

It's me again with my Sims post. Sims 2 didn't work very well anymore on my laptop so I had to setup the Double Deluxe version and start all over again. I'd like to show the first part of my story - there's only Oishi, Eiji, Momo, Fuji and Ryoma right now since I couldn't make a family out of the while Seigaku but the rest of them will move in later! :3

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas stop to pose outside the Gianfranco Ferre shop in downtown Milan, Italy after doing some shopping before their show on Friday afternoon (November 6).
The musical trio tried on several pieces from the 2009 FERRE Fall collection.
Joe looked sharp in the black velvet jacket and the grey wool micro pied de poule jacket while Kevin stopped off to look at some heels for fiance Danielle Deleasa.

Dear Specific Author,
Ron is not going to equate Harry with Draco Malfoy if Harry knows something about the wizarding world Ron doesn't. He is not going to start calling Harry by his last name, and saying "Potter wasn't even that good in school!"
Ron can be jealous of Harry, and he can be a prat about it sometimes, but overall he is very loyal to Harry.
Nor does he particularly strike me as the type of person who refers to himself in the third person while ranting about how great he will become. That's more Voldemort's territory.

Harry/Ron fics do not require Hermione to be demonized. Stop making her out to be a crazy person out to destroy everyone's happiness. These are the two people she cares most about, you know!

The fic started out really good. Well written, tugged at the heartstrings, I was all ready to love it to pieces. It had a pretty common scenario where Naruto has to take down Sasuke, for the village’s sake. And I could see Naruto doing this. What I can’t see Naruto doing? After smashing Sasuke’s body, grabbing him by the hair and cutting his head off. Then slamming the head face first into the dirt and jamming a kunai through it.
I get it, the author doesn’t like Sasuke…but Naruto does. I just can't see him mutilating Sasuke's corpse like that. Killing him to protect the village? Yes. Cutting off the head and then jamming a kunai threw through* the skull of the guy he said was a brother to him? Not so much.
ETA* I can't proofread on Vicodin apparently. -_-

Ceramics rambling warning!
RAKU IS STILL THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD!! \0/ \0/ We did like 3 loads of firings today and some of my pieces turned out sooo good!! *_* I need to take pictuures! *0*
Totally worth the week of getting up at 6am to go work on ceramics! X3 *flails*
My grandma also really liked my bird-head piece, which makes me really happy! She has very traditional and "fine" taste when it comes to art, so i wasn't sure how much she would appreciate ceramic pieces. I'm glad she likes it! ^-^
In other news, i still fail at catching up on my fic-reading. :(
And i still need to work on the exchange pics.

Hi fandom!
Kyuhyun's Chinese name is most assuredly 圭賢. SM Entertainment corroborates this in all of their printed, online, and DVD info. He has written out his name in an interview. All those blinky flashy fan signs? 圭賢. 11,000,000 Google hits? 圭賢. I think we can be pretty sure that that is his name.
圭賢 is pronounced "Gui1 Xian2" 100% of the time and the first character looks the same in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
His name is not, in any way, shape, or form, "Kuixian." This only works if his name is 奎賢 (Kui2 Xian2), which, if you will note in the image above, Kyuhyun thinks is wrong (this was an interview broadcast in Taiwan, and the mistake was only made once and only on this show). As evidenced by the adorable little "--X/圭--O" he's written next to it. and anyway, if you had to choose between having 圭 or 奎 in your name, 99.9% of people would choose 圭. Because 奎 is the obscure name of one of the stars that make up the Pisces constellation (alternately, quinine!). And 圭 is, you know, jade.
If you want the "K" in there somewhere you want the Wade-Giles romanization (Kuihsien), which, by virtue of being the Wade-Giles romanization, makes no logical, linguistic, or common sense.
In conclusion, I submit that... I have no idea why the hell it is that fandom thinks Kyuhyun's Chinese name is "Kuixian." But I'm going to go eat jello now.

Chapter 2 is up! There are definitely spoilers so watch out! Please review! Oh pretty please!
Well, okay, here's what I know about your fic: what fandom it's for (due to the section it's in), the characters (due to the tags), and that it's two chapters long so far. I also know that you would like reviews and that your story contains spoilers.
But I know nothing concerning the plot. I was fairly sure that a summary was supposed to provide that. The only plot-related things I know are from tags rather than your summary. Bad author. No cookie. I don't even know what section of the source material these spoilers are for! Endgame? Halfway through? Something found out in the first five minutes but that it quite shocking?
This is like summarizing a book with the following: "There are words! There is more than one chapter! Someone dies! Oh, and the characters are named Gary and Matthew! Please read! Oh pretty please!" |
